Remembering the Shabbat Part II

  • MB Hi Don,

Quote - “Moreover Yeshua calls the Pharisee's, Legalists, and warns them of the consequences of not believing in him”

This is contradiction and yet Jesus sinned again on this occasion. The Torah said that G-d is one, not 3. Any gods that were not in Sinai is foreign to Jews, ie – jesus, muhammad, buddha, tao etc. When the Pharisees, legalists are not believing in him (jesus), they are just following what the Torah said. In addition, G-d says his laws never change and is forever.

    See verses here:
"I am G-d, and not man" Hosea 11:9.

    "G-d is not a man" I Samuel 15:29.

    "G-d is not a man" Bamidbar / Numbers 23:19.

And let's not forget "I HaShem do not change" Malachai 3:6.

"Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me. I, even I, am HaShem, and besides Me there is no Savior.” Isaiah 43:11.

“I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no G-d!" Isaiah 44:6

"I am HaShem, and there is no other; besides Me there is no G-d" Isaiah 45:5

"Remember the first things of old, that I am G-d and there is no other; I am G-d and there is none like Me." Isaiah 46:9.

Jesus himself claimed that too in the NT that G-d laws are forever. See Matthew 5:17-19 (New Century Version (NCV)):

17 “Don’t think that I have come to destroy the law of Moses (Torah) or the teaching of the prophets (Tanach basically). I have not come to destroy them but to bring about what they said.
18 I tell you the truth, nothing will disappear from the law until heaven and earth are gone. Not even the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will be lost until everything has happened.
19 Whoever refuses to obey any command and teaches other people not to obey that command will be the least important in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys the commands and teaches other people to obey them will be great in the kingdom of heaven.

From Matthew 5:17-19 -Jesus himself claimed that “don’t think that I have come to destroy the law of Moses or the teaching of the prophets. I have not come to destroy them but to bring about what they said.”

(Is very literal term, unfortunately - Christianity twisted it saying that jesus died for sins of the people, it was just the time is not yet come, and they used this verse to "proof" it - 17 “Don’t think that I have come to destroy the law of Moses (Torah) or the teaching of the prophets (Tanach basically). I have not come to destroy them but to bring about what they said.)

  • MB Since jesus knows all the laws (included G-d cannot be a man, no other gods etc etc), but the result was - he in return said that he was a god man and precipitated others idolatrize him, see John 8:24 “But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I AM he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

    See, this is contradiction.

Passage below showed that Shabbat is on the 7th day of the week, not the 1st day of the week (ie:Sunday). Since Christians are not Jews, sun-day worshipping is their choice.

The Torah said that in Exodus 20:1-10 (English Standard Version (ESV)) –
1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands[b] of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.

The Torah is very clear, is on the 7th day. Not one day short and not one day more (ie:Sunday)

When Jesus said in Matthew 9:13 “I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.” – This basically referring to forgiving. Likewise to Hosea 6:6 (in the Tanach).

G-d is very clear in the Torah that there are many ways for having forgiveness. I will show you a list on how forgiven can be done later on below.

Definitely, human sacrificial and drinking blood of jesus (even it is representable ie monthly church communion) will not get away with sins. In fact, it is creating more sins by doing that since human sacrificial is prohibited by G-d. Likewise of blood drinking. Those who embracing it, idolatrize it, drink the blood - very dangerous.

Torah said that we should not drink blood because blood contain life force. Those who practicing sorcerer should get away with it – ie: drinking jesus blood in remembrance of him, pray all things under his name, only his blood can washed away your sins etc etc….all these are cult like and very dangerous.

  • MB Torah is very clear we are not supposed to practicing all these.
Missionaries love to used Hosea 6:6 as “proof text” to match with Matthew 9:13 by demonizing Jews love to do burnt offering, which in modern term – a total merciless act upon animals. Th
is is how the world demonizing the Jews. Since the temple is not stood, Jews are not able to bring burnt offering.

In reality,– Hosea 6:6 is in the Tanach. New Testament was not written out yet that time, and when later time missionaries cherry picked one verse to somehow finding comfortable spot to match with NT, this is not right.

Hosea 6:6 is basically telling the Jews in the old time (and now) that there are many ways of forgiving. In fact, in Isaiah 1:11 G-d already indicated clearly that he does not required sacrifices and Jews know that long time ago way before Christians introduce jesus to somehow can “bypass” it.

See Isa 1:11 - 11 The LORD says, “I do not want all these sacrifices.I have had enough of your burnt sacrifices of male sheep and fat from fine animals.I am not pleased by the blood of bulls, lambs, and goats.”

See. this is not new to the Jews.

So, when Matthew 9:13 mentioned about not bring sacrifice but show mercy, this are not new to us.

Here are the list that there are various ways of forgiveness:

By the way - there are 3 level of sins - Chatat, Pesha and Avon. One severe than the others in order. Chatat - Pesha and Avon.

    REPENTANCE

-2 Samuel 12:13-14 is a cheit (David admits to sin before Nathan the prophet and
    repents).
-Jonah 3:10 has to do with the sins of Nineveh (unspecified, just identified as "evil" in 1:2), the people repented and G-d forgave.
-Leviticus 26:40-42 speaks of avon and repentence atoning for it.
-Ezekiel 18:21-32 speaks of chatat, pesha and avon -- are all atoned through repentance (an avon is an impulsive sin and a pesha is a sin done knowingly and in defiance of G-d -- sacrifices don't atone for avon or pesha sins).

    KINDNESS

-Proverbs 16:6 an avon is atoned for with kindness.
-Daniel 4:24 chatat and avon by showing mercy and kindness.

    PRAYER (accompanied by repentance)

-Hosea 14:2-3 teshuva (turning to G-d) and 1 prayer atones for avon.
-1 Kings 8:46-50 include chatat, avon, rasha (wicked or evil) and pesha are atoned for by prayer.
-Daniel 9:5-19 include chatat, avon, and rasha are atoned by prayer.

    REMOVING IDOLATRY

-Isaiah 27:9 both chatat and avon are atoned by removing idolatry.

    PUNISHMENT

-Isaiah 40:1-2 avon is removed by punishment.
-Lamentations 4:22 avon is removed by punishment.

    DEATH

-Isaiah 22:14 avon will surely not be atoned until you die.

    FLOUR OFFERING

-Leviticus 5:1-13 for specific ashams (guilts including not testifying honestly, touching something ritually unclean, if one makes an oath one doesn't keep, he must confess, and he must bring a guilt offering which should be a female sheep or goat, but if he can't afford it he may bring two turtle doves (one as a chatat and one as an olah). If he cannot afford the turtle doves he may bring flour as a chatat (sin offer).

    MONEY
-Exodus 30:15-16 to atone for the life-force (similar to blood in Leviticus 17:11).

    JEWELRY

-Numbers 31:50 to atone for the life-force (similar to blood in Leviticus 17:11).

    INCENSE

-Numbers 17:11-12 atonement for the Israelites "for there is wrath" Per Rashi (a Jewish sage) this secret was given over to him by the angel of death when he went up to heaven, that incense holds back the plague… as is related in Tractate Shabbath (89a) - the Talmud.
