Remembering the Shabbat Part I

Preface

In a Facebook conversation. The importance of the Shabbat or Sabbath
was brought up. In the fourth commandment. Hashem states that you
must honour the Sabbath and keep it holy. MB a facebook friend states

that

When Christian(s) keep Sunday, they are not keeping Shabbat. They are
doing something else!

  • MB Daniel 7:25

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and
try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be
delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time."

This is basically speaking of Christianity. Christians worshiping on
Sunday and take as Shabbat day.

They based this according to modern day calendar which rooted straight
from the Rome calendar. If translate – they try to change the set times
    and the laws.

G-d is very clear that you have to follow Shabbat, not sun-worship day.

The New Testament also encourage them that the laws are not so important
    because Jesus done for you.

You believe in Jesus = you are save, this is their concept. Very dangerous.

When Jews were prosecuted by Nazi and by Rome from time to time – this
indicating that “the holy people (Jews) will be delivered into his hands
(etc: Christianity, Islam etc) for a time, times and half a time.”

Why the Rome changed the Jewish Shabbat day (Friday sundown to Saturday
sundown) to Sunday? How the Sabbath was changed?

All this comes straight from the first Christian’ – the Constantine. Sunday
itself is a sun-worship day, this is how this word Sunday came from. And
Catholicism takes credit for the changed as well.

History proof that and is in the history record.

Depends how you read the Bible. In the Old Testament, Yahweh is,
one on one, with the Israelite Nation. He commands them to obey his precepts.
Christians are not Jews but are grafted into the 'olive tree'. Moreover Yeshua
calls the Pharisee's, Legalists, and warns them of the consequences of not
    believing in him

    But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world;
I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not
believe that I AM he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

    ~ John 8:24

Asher Ayer Asher (I AM WHO I AM) ~ Exodus 3:14

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come
here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language
not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.

    ~ John 8:42

Context is clear in John 8

Don't confuse observing a ritual i.e. Shabbat with Worshiping Adonai (The Lord)

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I
want burnt offerings. ~ Hosea 6:6

Then he added, "Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: 'I want you to
show mercy, not offer sacrifices.' For I have come to call not those who think
they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners."

    ~ Matthew 9:13

You can Praise Yahweh anyday or time in the week. Shabbat is there to observe
a ritual. Does that make sense ...... ?

The Jews however called him a sorcerer because he was conjuring
    miracles from above

On the eve of the Passover Yeshu (Jesus) was hanged. For forty days before
the execution took place, a herald went forth and cried, "He is going forth to
be stoned because he practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy. Anyone
who can say anything in his favor, let him come forward and plead on his
behalf. " But since nothing was brought forward in his favor he was hanged
on the eve of the Passover! -- Ulla retorted, "Do you suppose that he one for
whom a defense could be made? Was he not a mesith [enticer], concerning
whom Scripture says, Neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal
him? With Yeshu, however, it was different, for he was connected with royalty
    [or well-connected]."

    ~ Sanhedrin 43a Talmud (200-500ce)
