On matters of the Heart Part II

  • Continuation..

MB Didn't the New Testament (in John) said that they (Pharisees) wanted to stone him and he (jesus) left? Here you go.

    John 8:58-59

58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

I guess if he did not slip away, he would be dead.

By the way, Capital punishment (etc: hang on the cross) was controlled by the Rome at that time. Not the Jews.

Even the Jews wanted to hang him on the cross, that would not happen because that was the law of the Rome.

  • Don Tan If they were stoning adulterers ,...., left, right and centre... What do you think there were going to do to Heretics, Sorcerers and Others. How did Yeshua slip away in the midst of them...... hmmmm

  • MB Avoid being stone.

  • MB Jesus anyway did get kill by the Rome no matter how he slip away.

The Torah said that false prophet needs to be killed.

    The quote is Deuteronomy 13:2 - 4.

The Jews might not be able to track him at that time for whatever reason, or have no real intention of direct stoning him to death on the spot or to kill him by their own hand (like you said – “avoid” hand dirty), but still he get killed.

“Avoid” dirty hand is not the case here for jesus death since they can stones those adulterers to death etc…..why are they afraid to stone jesus when they can stone the others with no problem?

(stoning thing is not apply in today world anymore since the temple is not stood.)

The case here is that the Rome is in controlled of almost everything at that time especially criminal punishment. Or (just maybe) the Jews are afraid to stone jesus (due to his public figure, the influence, maybe) because the Rome is so in love (“in love”) with him and ended up made him an idol.

After he got killed on the cross, the Rome made him an idol 40 years later to create a religion called Christianity so that they can oppressed the Jews who are still residing there that time.

The Jews never worship Jesus and the Jews discourage any non-jew to worship jesus also or any form of idol. The Golden Claf incident is one of the example that tell us not to worship any idol.

  • MB  Daniel 7:13-14 is not about Jesus, it is about Israel, the whole nation.

Do not hijack by placing jesus (a jew, one person) only.

Daniel 7:13-14 is the whole Jews (nation of Israel basically). When read Daniel 7:13-14, please read the rest of the chapter of Daniel. Read all the way to Daniel 26.

From the message you given above, you quote the Hebrew translation which is correct, but with Christianity mindset.

In the Christians bible translation, they translated as “son of man” (see the link here: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Daniel+7:13-14), not ““like a son of a human being” (k’var enash), the one you quote on the top is correct.

Why do we know that Daniel 7 has nothing to do with Jesus? Yet again because the visions associated with the one “like the son of a human being” never happened with Jesus.

    Read the chapter.

We are told in the next line (14) “dominion and glory and a kingdom, and all peoples, nations, and tongues shall serve him; his dominion is an eternal dominion, which will not be removed, and his kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.”

Now missionaries will try to claim this is not an “earthly kingdom” but Daniel 7 makes this lie apparent.

Keep reading. . . Line 17. [He -- the angel -- said] “These huge beasts, which are four, are four kingdoms, which will arise from the earth.”

    Kingdoms of the EARTH.

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me...
